To ensure safety and health in the offshore energy sector OEUK/OGUK policy states that all persons working offshore shall be examined periodically and classified as medically fit to work in the offshore environment.

What do I need to bring for my OEUK medical?
- Photo ID - Drivers Licence or Passport
- Printed OH Direct OEUK Medical Examination form with completed seafarer and personal declarations - we can help if required here.
- Maritime certificate, or information on the maritime certificates you hold
- List of any regular or PRN medications
- Letters from any treating physicians of significant medical conditions confirming that your condition and the treatments you require will not impair your ability to perform your role or risk your safety in a maritime environment.
- Glasses or contact lenses if normally worn
- Have a drink before they arrive so they may complete a urinalysis.
How much does completing my OEUK/OGUK cost?
- For a simple Medical the cost is $440 inclusive of all diagnostic testing
- For complicated assessments including requesting and reviewing treating clinicians management and engaging with provider clinicians additional costs will apply.
